Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet Finally Make Their Red Carpet Debut

The moment the internet has been waiting for has finally come: Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet have made their red carpet debut. It only took 20 months of dating and two full awards seasons, but the A-list couple has finally made a photocall together, and they took the opportunity to show off their coordinating style.

Jenner and Chalamet arrived at the 70th David Di Donatello at Cinecitta Studios in Rome, Italy, today, walking hand in hand. The Khy founder looked stunning in a slinky black lace dress that featured a plunging neckline, crisscross back, floor-sweeping skirt, and figure-hugging silhouette. She accented the Schiaparelli centerpiece with a black velvet clutch, adorned with gold details, and structural gold drop earrings that looked like hands cuffing her ears. As for beauty, the mom-of-two swept her dark-brown locks back into a neat, slicked-back updo and glammed up with bronzy makeup, complete with a subtle smoky eye, fluttery eyelashes, berry-blush, and matte lips.

For the Dune star’s part, he looked dapper in an inky-black velvet, double-breasted suit jacket over a matching button-down shirt and paired with coordinating, cuffed trousers. He added shiny black dress shoes and a white floral brooch for some contrast. Chalamet combed his brunette flow back and wore his new signature groomed facial hair.

It’s not a Kimothy outing without plenty of PDA, and the pair sure delivered, holding hands, staring deep into each other’s eyes, and smiling wide. While posing, the actor sweetly held Jenner’s waist as she leaned against him.

This marks a big first for the couple, who hadn’t walked a red carpet together before. Jenner has famously accompanied Chalamet to several awards shows, but was only pictured with him inside the ceremonies. She forewent all of the carpets, likely to let Chalamet, who was nominated for A Complete Unknown this circuit, shine.

Many fans were hoping the two would have this public milestone at the Met Gala earlier this week, however, Chalamet skipped the event. The Kylie Cosmetics founder rode solo for the night, looking gorgeous in a Ferragamo sheer corset dress.

Jenner and Chalamet first made their relationship public on September 5, 2023, when they hard launched their coupling at a Beyoncé concert.

An insider gave a rare look into their relationship in October 2024. “He’s close with her family and she’s close with his family,” the source told People. “It’s very serious, but also a fun relationship. They’ve really been able to figure out a good balance between working and spending quality time together.”
