Busta Rhymes is back for the comeback, and this time with something for basketball fans! The legendary hip-hop maestro has just birthed a new single “New York Knicks Anthem,” produced by the legendary DJ Scratch with guest production by the legendary Swizz Beatz. And much like the presence of these four legends, it was a certified hit!

Released on the eve of Memorial Day weekend, the track made an instant splash, with Busta promoting it on his Instagram in classic Busta fashion. “THE BLESSINGS DON’T STOP SO WE WON’T EVER STOP!!! NEVERRRRRRRR EVER EVER!!!!” he shouted out to DJ Scratch for insane production on this track. The energy? Unmatched. The timing? Perfect. The vibes? Electric.
Then, all hell broke loose with the comments section being flooded with some major praise. One fan said it was giving an old-school NY Knicks vibe and wished that it gave a shout-out to Willis Reed and Walt Frazier. They wrote: “Definitely giving Willis Reed and Walt Frazier NY Knicks that 70s sample 🔥🔥,” feeling the throwback vibe.
