Few family dynasties can rival the fame of the Kennedys, but one comes pretty darn close: the Schwarzeneggers. From Patrick Schwarzenegger’s recent run on The White Lotus to Katherine Schwarzenegger’s loved-up marriage to Chris Pratt, the children of The Terminator icon Arnold Schwarzenegger have proven themselves more than worthy of Hollywood’s spotlight. But fame isn’t the only thing these two families have in common—on the contrary, they’re actually related.

It all started when the Schwarzenegger patriarch married Maria Shriver in 1986. Shriver is the daughter of Eunice Kennedy, who was the sister of John F. Kennedy, meaning, in other words, that she is the late president’s niece. Patrick is thus the grandson of Eunice Kennedy, making him the great nephew of JFK.

On the Schwarzenegger side of the family, Patrick is the uncle to his sister Katherine’s three children with Chris Pratt: Lyla, Eloise, and Ford. The brother-sister duo also have three other siblings, Christina, Christopher, and Joseph, the latter of whom is the son of Mildred Baena. (Arnold and Maria split in 2011 after his affair with Baena was made public.)

Patrick, of course, has one more famous relative who deserves a shoutout: Jack Schlossberg, a.k.a. JFK’s only grandson. The cousins are related via their mothers, Maria and Caroline, who are first cousins. (Maria’s mother Eunice and Caroline’s father JFK were siblings.) The two men have most recently been in the spotlight thanks to one other relative, however: Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.

Both Schlossberg and his mom, Caroline, have spoken out against Robert F. Kennedy’s nomination for health secretary. Schlossberg took to Instagram in late January urging Patrick to do the same.
