Jennifer Aniston Channels Friends’ Rachel Green in Her First-Ever TikTok with Selena Gomez

Jennifer Aniston made her TikTok debut in classic Rachel Green fashion.

On Thursday, Feb. 6, Selena Gomez posted a TikTok with Aniston, 55, from their joint Galentine’s Day celebration, and they mouthed along to an iconic Friends scene featuring Aniston’s character Green and Matt LeBlanc’s Joey Tribbiani.

Gomez, 32, took on the role of Joey and asked Aniston, “Do you know something?”

“Do you know something?” Aniston replied, mouthing along to her character’s line from the season 5 episode.

“I might know something,” Gomez said, followed by Aniston saying, “I might know something, too.”

In the clip, both of the actresses held new products from their beauty lines. Gomez promoted Rare Beauty’s new Soft Pinch Matte Bouncy Blush while Aniston showed off LolaVie’s Peptipe Pumping Volume Spray.

“When you’re both about to launch something new 🫢 Showing Jen TikTok – she nailed it!” Gomez wrote in the caption of the TikTok, which has over 6 million views.

She added, “Beyond grateful for her and our decade worth of friendship. Had so much fun yesterday celebrating Galentine’s Day w/ Rare Beauty + LolaVie.”

At the event, which was held at the San Vicente Bungalows in Los Angeles on Feb. 5, Gomez told PEOPLE, “I’ve known Jen for over a decade now, and she’s someone I’ve always looked up to … she’s always been there for me.”

“It’s nice to have people in your life who can just be there and hear you out and [give] me great advice,” she said.

Aniston echoed Gomez’s comments, as she told PEOPLE that they “sister-mother each other equally as best as we can.”

Gomez has never shied away from professing her love of Friends. In 2020, she told Aniston, who was guest hosting on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, “Rachel was my life. I would watch [Friends] on channel 33 at 10:30 every night on Thursday with my mom and I cried when the whole season was over.”

During the interview, they also recalled the first time they met — in a bathroom of all places. At the time, Gomez said “nobody knew who I was,” but Aniston was “so nice” to her.

“You just walked out of the bathroom, you were going back, and my heart stopped and I freaked out and I ran to my mom and I was like, ‘Oh my God, I just saw Jennifer Aniston,'” she recalled. “You were everything that I wanted.”
