The Nobody Wants This actress—who shares two daughters with husband Dax Shepard—perfectly illustrated how her sense of humor runs in the family as she celebrated Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 11. Her daughters Lincoln, 11, and Delta, 10, penned a NSFW Mother’s Day letter with a hilarious dig for the occasion—and Bell headed to social media to share her unexpected reaction.

“Best card anyone has ever given or gotten 💕,” the Gossip Girl alum quipped in her tongue-in-cheek post, which featured a close-up shot of a handmade card with the words “Happy Father’s Day, Mom!” prominently written in bubble lettering in front. In a second slide, Bell shared the contents of the DIY card, revealing an unexpectedly potty-mouthed Mother’s Day message complete with an illustration of two smiling stick figures holding hands at the bottom..

“Mom, I love you so much! To the moon and back!” her daughters wrote, hilariously shifting gears as they concluded,”Happy Mothers Day you creative and consiterate [sic] bitch!”

Bell keeps her daughters out of the public eye, covering their faces with emojis when they make a rare appearance on her social media account. However, the Frozen actress previously hinted that her eldest mini-me inherited her comedic skills when sharing a hilarious note her daughter wrote for her in August 2023. In the Instagram post, Bell showed off the message that read, “Dear Mom. Me and dad went fishing in the shower drain and dad caught a fish and I got a minnow. I know you love fish, so me and dad are going to hand them over to you. Love you! Sincerely, Lincoln.”

“Fishing in the shower drain” produced two clumps of hair. An amused Bell quipped, “How generous” as she shared a photo of her daughter’s unexpected present.
