Kylie Jenner had her moment of big drama, and the internet is collectively losing its mind now over it. This glamour-kid-turned-billionaire-entrepreneur gave the news of the latest KHY collaboration, this time with Turkish designer Dilara Findikoglu, to the world. Supposedly launching at 9 AM PT on May 28, exclusively on khy.com, the collaboration is “a combination of feminine beauty and sexiness with great construction.” And it looks like the teaser will back that up.

Jenner did not really let the hype settle; before even going into the details, she already declared that this is a dream collab as she has worn and admired Findikoglu’s work for years. Much to the intrigue of all, Findikoglu is horrifically romantic, disruptive with her avant-garde silhouettes, quite the paradox to be lined with what is otherwise a very sleek, minimalist KHY aesthetic curated by Kylie. But Jenner knows how to keep everyone in the dark about her next step.
In these events, imagine the comments section in ruckus. One fanciful one read, “If I had a dollar for every time Kylie left me speechless, I’d own Mars by now,” really the sentiment we’re going with. “The last picture is just 😩🔥🖤🖤🖤,” another fan said about the visuals; same energy here. There were teasing moments and then dark glam vibes swirled with Jenner’s modern sultry vibes-thinking structured corsetry, dramatic draping, and quite a lot of black.
The air remained cozy enough, given voices coming to give slight opposition to the trend. A dissenter called it an “oculticlike all the stuff your family does,” which… okay, then. Turkish flocks filled the replies with flag emojis and chants of “As bayrakları as as” (translation: Let the flags wave), thus celebrating Findikoglu’s nationality! Another side-eyed skeptic said, “I thought they hated Turks?” – presumably recalling the Kardashian-Jenners’ rather checkered history when allegations of cultural appropriation were on the rise.
Then there was the interesting comment, in Spanish: “Gracias por la fiesta anoche en tu casa; la orgía contigo y tu hermana estuvo muy bien, hacemos otra.” Ladies, this is a fashion announcement.
Fans prepared to go all in on the fantasy, going with one saying, “You are so powerful in red” and another cheeky one that said, “Love the no eyebrows look.” (Kylie’s laminated brow era is apparently over.) And of course, there’s always somebody who has to make things a little weird, like the user who asked, “Are you loyal for me or you want to share your friends without you?” Sir, this is a Wendy’s.
It really is creating huge buzz-in mixed reactions, aside from all hype. Jenner’s KHY drops have become events in themselves, weighed down by her influencer clout alongside her fashion cred. This feels like dipping one foot further into the edgier territory-ice and comfy minimalism; more high-fashion drama. These were probably all speculations on whether it would mean something to her old side or attract an entirely new alt-leaguing fan base. But one thing for sure: When Kylie drops anything, suddenly there is a huge discussion-theatre, sometimes a few fights, and a couple of mentions about orgies.
