Meghan Markle’s personal Instagram account has been a treat to royal observers, but not just for the updates regarding her lifestyle brand or romantic moments with Prince Harry—the duchess has been showing snippets of Archie and Lilibet, and her latest update is beyond adorable.
In a recent Instagram Story update, Markle shared a clip of her watering her garden at her and Harry’s Montecito home.
In the sweet snap, Markle asks Archie or Lilibet if they want want to help her water the plants, to which one of them replies, “only if you want [me to]” before taking the garden host and placing a finger on it to extend the reach of the water to the plants.

Markle and Harry has recently been giving more glimpses at Archie and Lilibet as a way of taking control of the children’s image before the paparazzi does, royal expert Jennie Bond explained in an interview with the Mirror.
“They are clearly fiercely protective of their children. And I think much of that stems from Harry’s experience of having cameras trained on him when he was a little boy – and ever since,” Bond told the outlet. “He showed his contempt for the cameras when he was very young, sticking his tongue out, as he sat in the back of a car with his mother. She told him to stop it very quickly!”

Bond continued, “Of course, seeing only glimpses of them makes them even more interesting to the public. And it brings extra attention to whichever video they appear in, which is commercially valuable. Sooner or later, they are bound to release pictures of the children. Otherwise, there’s a real danger that paparazzi will follow them until they get what they want – in the hope that a newspaper or magazine somewhere in the world will buy the pictures.”
