Tyrese Gibson-To describe the multi-talented singer and actor known for his association with the ‘Fast and Furious‘ series-was soliciting prayers on his social media. At the age of 44, with tears running down, he shared with fans that he was, for some reason, not feeling as strong today and that they should pray for him during this difficult time which he did not wanna discuss.

A Gospel song was silently playing in the background, with the lyrics: “May your struggles keep you near the cross” and “May your bad days prove that God is good.” The emotional video was captioned by Tyrese: “I needed this badly in this exactly moment pray for me I’m not feeling as strong as I usually do these days… Pray for me I can’t share what’s going on but please pray for me…. Please?”
Within a very short time, the comment bars were filled with showers of prayers and support from concerned followers and celebrities alike. One fan highlighted how Jonathan McReynolds’ songs uplifted her during such difficult times. Another user shared equally powerful affirmations: “You have divine health. You walk in perpetual healing. Your whole life is a testimony to God’s Grace. We will hear your testimony of God’s Goodness.”
Some comments stood out for being deep and compassionate: “May the Lord perfect all that concerns you and grant you peace beyond your own understanding. He is with you in every valley and every mountain. It is well. Another one is: May the Lord bring you strength, wisdom, and revelation and renew your faith; so that from whatever it is you’re coming out victoriously in Jesus name.”
The singer and actor have always been candid about it in interviews-an even-more-even sharing inspirational messages and gospel music with millions of his followers. This one shows him publicly emptied; which is something his high-energy performer persona, which we are so used to seeing him as, can barely conceal.
Not revealing any details of what is currently going on in his life, we can see that these difficult years must have passed for the star within: He’s been loud over the issues of custody of his daughter and the emotional roller coaster of those court proceedings. The entertainer likewise just recently marked seven years of sobriety, a path he has been documenting with his fans in an open and candid way.

All will be well, in Jesus’ name!” An outpouring of support like this reminds us how important community can be when facing the hardest times, and this is the valley that the star seems to be embracing.
