The WWE Universe buzzes as the last names are to be considered official tonight on Raw for the Men’s Money In The Bank ladder match. With Seth Rollins, Finn Balor, and Sami Zayn in a triple threat battle, while Chad Gable faces off against Penta El Zero Miedo in singles competition, qualification bouts have become high-stakes affairs. However, amid all the attention to these bouts, there is a loud bunch convincing other fans to protest, demanding to be heard regarding one glaring omission: Karrion Kross not being involved in the qualifiers.

Once said, many reactions came through social networks questioning, “What exactly is going in the creative genius in WWE headquarters?” Just one fan said, “Still no Karrion Kross? Wtf man,” maybe representing the distraught crowd feeling that this outstanding talent is being overlooked. The same sentiment was expressed by another, “If Kross isn’t in the MitB match we riot!” Growing voices exist in favor of Kross.

What a pleasant surprise is the debate doesn’t stop with just Kross’s absence. There were those that had started to grow tired of the same machismo-type showings, one observer stated, “Match on the left we’ve been watching variations of for 6 months. Match on the right we’ve been watching variations of for 3 years. The fans don’t win.” This reflects the concern about WWE recycling the same storylines instead of evolving and innovating.

The Penta El Zero Miedo versus Chad Gable qualifier situation has become terribly divisive. While some argue that Penta deserves another shot after all those years anyway, others question why Gable is even part of this conversation when he is slated for another major match the very same day. “They should not have announced Gable will be wrestling same day as MITB. It’s so predictable Penta’s winning that,” said one knowledgeable fan, alluding to how aware fans are of booking trends these days.

Yet Rollins is still somewhat controversial with one detractor complaining, “It’s annoying that Seth Rollins is everywhere and doesn’t do anything good.”‘ Others consider him the one big-name star necessary for this main ladder match. The triple-threat qualifier with Balor and Zayn brings another level of intrigue, with some even foreseeing interference. “I see Finn winning potentially because Sami and Seth have a rivalry going on and I can see Bron, Bronson and CM Punk getting involved,” added an exceptionally insightful fan.

Perhaps the outside-the-ring chatter about who’s going towards the shot at the coveted Money In The Bank briefcase is number one. The backlash to the omission of Kross might just be the reason behind WWE looking at the utilization of some of their talents differently. While WWE may have a longer-term storyline planned for Kross as another fan gave an in-depth analysis of his situation, the immediate appeal of Kross getting his name in a Money In The Bank big-money match welcomes no argument from the fans.

Without a doubt, Raw will have explosive, thrilling qualifying bouts, but the greater question has to be: Is creative wholly listening to the audience? Making it one of the most unpredictable places to be this entire year, it’ll be the biggest surprise if Kross bucks convention and gets into the match without being in any announced qualifiers anyway. One thing for sure, the WWE Universe will be glued to their screens to cheer or boo as decisions unfold.
